The Stetson Social: Reviews & Ratings
I’ve enjoyed this neighborhood gem. Their hamburgers are SO good. I highly recommend. On my recent visit, I tried their brunch on a Saturday which is from 10am-2pm. I like that they have the classic breakfast choices but they have several other options along with offering their lunch menu. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. I decided to indulge and had a breakfast chorizo burrito. It came with a side of sour cream and fresh salsa. It was super tasty! Friendly and attentive service. Come be social at The Stetson Social!
Came here by chance after learning Bourbon & Bones requires a dress code . This was a pleasant surprise. They afford a variety of seating - tables, high tops, bar, and outdoor. I chose the bar so as to watch the TNF (Ravens vs Dolphins). After asking a few questions I ordered a cup of soup (Green Chili Chili), side Caesar salad, and the French dip with horseradish sauce. Everything came out at once. That is not something I find appealing as the other foods get cold. The salad was fine. Nothing that really wowed me. A touch more dressing, and more cheese would have made it a great salad. The one part of my meal that was not very good was the chili. One server said it would have a kick. Green chili? It was spicier than I like. I asked for some sour cream that helped it a lot. Strange to see what looked to be like noodles in the chili. Would I order this again, or as an entree… most likely not. I do love a good Texas chili. The French dip was very good. The beef sliced thin, and tender. Loved the cheese and caramelized onions on the roll . The horseradish sauce was just right; along with the au jous. The service is fine. I appreciate the no charge as they ran out of Coca-Cola that evening. A slight wait before taking leftovers home; and ordering dessert to go. They have carrot cake. The restrooms are clean. Parking may be a challenge as it’s a mall setting shared with other stores and restaurants. I’d return to try more of their menu, and to sit on the patio. The dessert by the way is very good. Moist, delicious, and tasty frosting. It’s small; so you may want more. My check came to $43.64 after tax.
First time here. We drive by it daily and we came because the neighbor gave us a gift card at Christmas so we decided to come check it out. It was Saturday date day and came for a late lunch, about 2:30pm...of course the place was literally dead because any lunch rush was over and it was too early for dinner, which was perfect for us and kind of why we went at the time we did. Place was clean and maybe had 2 other tables, and even though there wasnt many people to take care of, the staff kept busy and wernt jusy standing around doing nothing. Bartender was getting beer kegs changed out, lemons and limes cut and cleaning, and our waitress kept busy doing things around there and every now and then you saw a manager, or who we think was the manager lady walking in and out of the kitchen, it would have been nice since it wasnt busy, that she stopped and introduced herself and maybe checked to see how we were liking the place, good managers should be doing that, but that's neither her nor there. We ordered the brucehetta plate and we got to choose which ones we wanted, all were pretty good. I ordered the salmon, which by the way was delicious even though I looked at their online menu and had wanted the sea bass, but it wasn't on their in store menu so I went with the salmon and loved it. My husband ordered the stroganoff and he loved that too. We didn't order dessert, we were just way too full but we decided we would come back and try something else. A little pricey at $81.00 with no cocktails or drinks involved, just water for me and tea for him but still willing to try something else. So far, it was pretty good. I wouldnt say its a place I would visit often, as the menu is very limited and I like options but for a quick close to home place, its doable. The issue I see, is there are a few new restaurants that are opening soon across the street and that's going to hurt their business I feel, we shall see.
The atmosphere is welcoming. Their fish specials are always a hit. They served barramundi once and it was delicious. Their salmon dish is also very tasty. The service is great and friendly. The food came out on a timely manner. Overall coming here is always a pleasant experience.
I had such a great experience dining here! Our server, Aiden, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to answer questions and offered amazing suggestions that really made the meal special. The service overall was quick without ever feeling rushed, and the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
The wine was good, a little bit on the pricey side. We were there for their happy hour, and it seems like everything was 2 to 3 dollars off of the main menu prices. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, it was delicious! However, the happy hour version didn’t have fries accounting for the price difference so doesn’t seem like the best deal lol. The waitress that we had was on top of things, kept our waters refilled, and checked on us frequently. I don’t know if I would make this my new go to spot, but every once in a while, it’s a good place to meet up with friends.
Good overall. Decided to start with the mac & cheese. To me it was a little under seasoned, but some salt and pepper did the job. For dinner I ordered the short rib grilled cheese. It too needed a bit of salt, but overall was good. Atmosphere was great and service was great. Drinks came out quick. Nothing out of this world in terms of taste, but worth a try as it seems their menu is rotating.
Stopped in for lunch for the first time. Had a good experience and will likely try it again. Enjoyed the Caprese Chicken Sandwich and the Reuben. Both were good. The Reuben could have used a bit more saurerkraut however had a generous amount of pastrami which was great! I'm sure we probably could have asked for a bit more. The fries were good, a little over seasoned for my liking, yet overall a pretty good lunch and a nice vibe. It was especially nice with the weather being great and the bar area open to the outside. I'd say we'll try it again and if we feel we need anything additional or adjusted, will give them the opportunity to assist. The value was fair too.
